SJC gold price increases when world gold price decreases

SJC gold price increased by 40,000 VND/tael compared to the previous session while world gold price decreased to the lowest level in 1 week.

The price of SJC gold this morning (August 9) increased by 40,000 VND/tael compared to the previous session according to the listing of Saigon VNDQ Company. The buying and selling price of gold is at 36.36 - 36.62 million VND/tael. The difference between buying and selling prices is 260,000 VND/tael.

DOJI Group increased the gold buying and selling price by 30,000 VND/tael when listing the price at 36.47 - 36.55 million VND/tael. The difference between the selling price and the buying price is 80,000 VND/tael.

Gold prices fell to their lowest level in a week after better-than-expected jobs data was released last weekend. Gold prices were affected by falling US stock indexes; the USD index rose against the yen as investors bet the Fed would raise interest rates this year.

Spot gold is currently trading at $1,335 an ounce after falling sharply to $1,329 an ounce. Meanwhile, gold for December delivery is trading at $1,341 an ounce.

Compared with today's foreign exchange rate, the world gold price is equivalent to 35.12 million VND/tael, 1.5 million VND/tael lower than the SJC gold price.
