Domestic gold prices increased by 20,000 VND/ounce. World gold prices remained stable at 1,212 USD/ounce.

Currently, the price of gold in Vietnam has increased by 20,000 VND/ounce compared to the beginning of the morning, reaching 35.77 million VND/ounce.

Specifically, in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Jewelry Company reduced the buying and selling price of gold to 35.65 - 35.77 million VND/ounce. In Hanoi, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 35.70 - 35.74 million VND/ounce.

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold in Hanoi remains at 40,000 VND/ounce. In Ho Chi Minh City, the difference remains at 120,000 VND/ounce.

World gold prices remained stable this morning at $1,212/oz, equivalent to VND 31.03 million/ounce according to the exchange rate, which is VND 4.74 million/ounce lower than domestic gold prices.

This morning (October 8th), at the opening of trading, the price of domestic SJC gold increased by 10,000 VND/ounce compared to the closing price on October 7th.

Specifically, according to the listing of Saigon Jewelry Company, the buying and selling price of gold is currently at 35.63 – 35.75 million VND/ounce. DOJI Group lists the gold price at 35.68 million VND/ounce (buying price). The selling price is 35.72 million VND/ounce.

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City remains unchanged compared to previous sessions. In Hanoi, the difference is 40,000 VND/ounce; in Ho Chi Minh City, the difference is 120,000 VND/ounce.

On the global market, gold prices continued to rise after the October 7th trading session as the USD index fell by 0.4%. The spot gold price on Kitco increased to $1,212/oz. The December gold futures price on the Comex exchange also rose to $1,212/oz.

According to traders, gold prices could warm up this week amid expectations of a return of Chinese investors to the market.

The world gold price is equivalent to 31.03 million VND/ounce according to the foreign exchange rate at Vietcombank, which is 4.72 million VND/ounce lower than the domestic gold price.
