Gold prices continue to climb, hitting a 2-month peak
Domestic gold prices today (August 12) continue to increase strongly following the upward trend of the world gold market.
At the opening of the weekend trading session (August 12), DOJI Group listed the price of gold bars in Hanoi at 36.41-36.49 million VND/tael (buy-sell). Compared to the previous session, the gold price was adjusted up 110,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The difference between the selling price and the buying price is 80,000 VND/tael.

This morning, the price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company at 36.34 million VND/tael; the selling price was 36.55 million VND/tael, an increase of 40,000 VND/tael compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling prices remained at 200,000 VND/tael.
In the world market, gold price today (August 12) continues to stand at a high level, now reaching a 2-month peak.
The world spot gold price was 1,285.26 - 12,85.51 USD/ounce, while the 12-day gold futures price on the Comex floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange was stable at 1,291.15 USD/ounce.
Converted to Vietnamese Dong, currently each tael of world gold costs 35.25 million VND/tael, about 1.2 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
