Pretending to go to rehab to sell drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Every early morning, Ha often rides his motorbike dozens of kilometers to the center to take drug addiction treatment medicine, but in reality, it is to look for addicts to sell drugs.
On January 16, Thanh Chuong District Police (Nghe An) announced that they had prosecuted Phan Van Ha (36 years old, residing in Nam Dan town) for illegal possession of narcotics.
According to the police, Ha was a serious drug addict and had no job. To have money to inject drugs, he decided to buy drugs and sell them to other addicts for profit. To avoid the authorities, more than half a year ago, Ha voluntarily registered to take Methadone to detox.

Every morning, Ha rides his motorbike more than 20 km to Thanh Chuong District Medical Center to receive Methadone. “At first glance, it seems like he really wants to quit his addiction and start his life over. However, in reality, he goes there to find other addicts in need and then buy drugs to sell to them,” said an investigator handling the case.
On January 2, Ha was caught red-handed carrying nearly 0.2 grams of heroin. He told the police that he had just bought the drugs and was on his way to sell them to drug addicts when he was caught.
