Gasoline prices may continue to rise sharply tomorrow.
Gasoline prices on the world market are on an upward trend, at times RON 95 gasoline is from 93 USD per barrel.
Data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that the average price of finished gasoline in the Singapore market in the new cycle with RON 92 is 89.7 USD per barrel, RON 95 is nearly 92 USD, an increase of more than 3% compared to the previous period. According to key enterprises, in the new adjustment period on October 6, gasoline and oil prices may increase by 200 - 500 VND per liter.

The leader of a major petroleum company in Ho Chi Minh City said that this adjustment period has seen a sharp increase in gasoline prices, with RON 95 gasoline rising to 93 USD per barrel in early October. Therefore, if the operator allocates more from the stabilization fund, gasoline prices may increase slightly by about 200 VND per liter. Conversely, if the operator keeps the stabilization fund unchanged, gasoline prices may increase by 500 VND per liter.
In the adjustment period on September 21, the retail price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 320 VND per liter; RON 95 gasoline was 293 VND. Oil products also increased from 26 - 124 VND per liter, kg depending on the type. After the adjustment, each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline is 20,230 VND, RON 95 21,770 VND; diesel oil is a maximum of 18,126 VND; kerosene is 16,683 VND and mazut is 14,942 VND.
During the above operating period, the joint ministries kept the same level of deduction for the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil as 15 days ago, with the expenditure for E5 RON 92 gasoline being VND1,563 per liter; RON 95 VND960; diesel oil and kerosene being VND400 and VND300 per liter, respectively.
