Today's oil and gas prices on October 25, 2023 on the world market tend to cool down. Oil prices decreased when geopolitical risks temporarily subsided and diplomatic efforts in the Middle East were strengthened.
Data from Oilprice shows that at 9:24 a.m. on October 24 (Vietnam time), Brent crude oil was trading at $90.32 per barrel, up $0.49, or 0.55%, from the previous session. WTI crude oil was at $85.93 per barrel, up $0.44, or 0.51%, from the previous session.
At 8:53 p.m. on October 24 (Vietnam time), Brent oil price fell to 89.33 USD/barrel, down 0.5 USD, or 0.56%, compared to the previous session. WTI oil price was at 84.95 USD/barrel, down 0.54 USD, or 0.63%, compared to the previous session.

Oil prices cooled as geopolitical risks temporarily subsided and diplomatic efforts in the Middle East were stepped up to prevent the conflict between Israel and Hamas from escalating.
The retail prices of gasoline and oil in the domestic market today are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of October 23 of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade. The prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted up slightly accordingly. Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased to 22,360 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased to 23,510 VND/liter. The price of diesel increased to 22,480 VND/liter. The retail price of kerosene increased to 22,750 VND/liter.

USD price shows signs of slight increase
Today, October 25, 2023, the USD/VND exchange rate, the black market USD price, and the VCB USD increased slightly in the mid-week session. The world USD exchange rate returned to the level above 106 points.
The central VND/USD exchange rate today (October 25) was announced by the State Bank to be adjusted to 24,097 VND/USD, an increase of 7 VND compared to the same time yesterday.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,251 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,251 VND/USD.
The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of slight increases at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,360 and a selling price of 24,730, an increase of 30 VND in the buying and selling prices. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
Domestic coffee prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg
Updated at 4:42 a.m. on October 25, 2023, domestic coffee prices increased sharply by 1,000 VND/kg, currently the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces fluctuates around 61,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on October 25, 2023 was VND 61,000/kg. In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at VND 61,100/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province (in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha) is purchased at 60,400 VND/kg.
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 61,200 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 61,300 VND/kg.
