Gasoline prices increased sharply across the board, exceeding 25,000 VND/liter
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to sharply increase gasoline prices in the first management period after Tet.
Accordingly,E5 gasoline priceRON92 increased by 976 VND/liter compared to the current price, the selling price is not higher than 24,571 VND/liter.
RON95-III gasoline increased by VND962/liter compared to the current retail price, the selling price is not higher than VND25,322/liter.

Diesel 0.05S is not higher than VND 19,865/liter (an increase of VND 962/liter compared to the current retail price).
Kerosene is not higher than VND 18,751/liter (an increase of VND 958/liter compared to the current retail price).
Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 17,659 VND/kg (an increase of 666 VND/kg compared to the current selling price).
To control the price increase, the joint ministries will use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline at 200 VND/liter; diesel at 400 VND/liter; and kerosene at 100 VND/liter. If the BOG fund at 200 VND/liter is not used, the selling price of E5 will increase by 1,176 VND/liter and the selling price will be 24,771 VND/liter.
The world oil market in the recent period (from the price adjustment period on January 21, 2022 to this adjustment period) has had many price fluctuations, the supply of oil and gasoline is scarce due to the influence of main factors such as: political tension between Russia and Ukraine and political instability in countries such as Kazakhstan, Libya, Iran... continue to complicate and affect the supply of oil and gasoline to the market.
Besides, high inflation in many big countries such as the US, China, etc. also causes world oil prices to tend to increase.
Meanwhile, the national market has just experienced a fluctuation with many points of sale being scarce and closed, causing supply disruptions to many areas.
