Oil prices today November 11, 2024: The world crude oil market started the new week with a simultaneous downward trend in prices of WTI and Brent crude oil.
World oil prices today
According to data from TradingEconomics and Oilprice at 6:42 this morning (Vietnam time), world crude oil prices continued to decrease. Specifically, WTI oil prices in the US market decreased by 0.112 USD, down to 70.268 USD/barrel, down 0.16% compared to yesterday and 6.95% compared to last month.
Similarly, Brent oil price decreased by 0.058 USD, to about 73.8 USD/barrel, down 0.08%.
Data from Oilprice showed that WTI and Brent oil prices in the US and UK markets also fell, but the sharp decline from the end of the trading session on November 9 was no longer there.
Earlier, on November 9, crude oil prices fell sharply by nearly $2/barrel, reflecting investors' initial reactions to President-elect Donald Trump's policies, which are expected to affect global oil supplies, as oil drilling companies may cut production.
In addition, oil prices also fell due to the strengthening of the US dollar after Mr. Trump's victory. Many experts predict that Mr. Trump will implement tough policies, such as tightening illegal immigration from Mexico, fighting trade fraud, and reducing trade deficits with US partners, which could impact the oil market.
