(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of March 21, in Vinh City, the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union organized a volleyball tournament to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 -2016).
Attending the opening ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Van Thong - Head of the Internal Affairs Committee; Ho Phuc Hop - Head of the Propaganda Committee. Members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Committee; Pham Thi Hong Toan - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

The tournament had the participation of 4 teams: Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union, Fire Police Youth Union, Target Protection Police Youth Union and the host team Provincial Party Committee Youth Union. Immediately after the opening ceremony, 4 teams drew lots to compete in a knockout format to select 2 teams for the final, the remaining 2 teams competed for third place.

The tournament is not only a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate Youth Month and the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, but also an opportunity to enhance exchange, understanding and mutual assistance between branches in particular and agencies in general.
At the end of the tournament, the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union football team won the championship, and the Target Protection Police team won second prize.
