Football tournament to celebrate the founding day of Vietnam's tourism industry.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 7, 2014, at the Sports Competition and Service Center, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Trade Union of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, organized the opening ceremony of the men's mini-football tournament to celebrate the 54th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Tourism industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2014).

Comrade Lo Trung Thanh – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An Province – presented flowers and commemorative flags to the participating units.

Accordingly, the tournament took place over two days (July 7th and 8th, 2014) with a total of 10 teams from various agencies, units, and numerous hotel businesses in the area: Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company, Muong Thanh Song Lam, Media, Anphaan, Beijing, Shanghai, Sports Talent School, Ban A, Training Center, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An.

This is a practical sporting event aimed at commemorating the 54-year tradition of development and growth of the Vietnamese tourism industry in general and Nghe An tourism in particular, thereby evoking pride, awareness, and responsibility among generations who have worked and are working in the tourism industry.
