National U13 Football Tournament was a great success
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2021 Yamaha Cup National Youth Football Tournament was held under relatively complicated epidemic conditions, but in the end the tournament was a great success.

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Phan Khue - Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau - Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, Co-Head of the Organizing Committee; Comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee.
This year’s tournament brought together 12 teams from provinces and cities across the country. After a week of exciting competition, the tournament officially ended with unexpected success.

The efforts of the Organizing Committee, of all levels and sectors, the consensus and seriousness of the teams when participating in the tournament, the support and facilitation ofPeople's Committee of Nghe An province, Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An, the joint efforts of units and sectors in Nghe An, made the tournament a success.

In particular, the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic was carried out in accordance with the "Plan to ensure the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic in organizing the 2021 Yamaha Cup National Youth Football Tournament (U13) in Nghe An" of the professional agencies, ensuring the highest safety for all members participating in the tournament. The Covid-19 screening test was carried out right from the time the teams arrived in the locality to compete, along with 72-hour periodic testing for all members at the tournament, the separate eating and resting plan of the teams, minimizing contact with the outside... has brought good results.
The talented U13 players were able to unleash their full potential with the ball. Many matches were extremely fierce, exciting, thrilling and surprising in the final minutes, creating many impressions.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Championship Cup to U13 PVF; Second prize to U13 Ha Tinh; Third prize to U13 T&T VSH and U13 QNK Quang Nam; U13 QNK Quang Nam won the Style prize.
The best player of the tournament was awarded to Tran Hoang Khanh (PVF); the top scorer was awarded to Nguyen Van Khanh (Ha Tinh), Tran Hoang Khanh (PVF); the best goalkeeper was awarded to Nguyen Thanh Long (PVF).

Summing up and reviewing the tournament, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Deputy Organizing Committee of the tournament said: To successfully organize this tournament, the Organizing Committee has received the attention and support of the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors. The Department of Culture and Sports has developed a detailed and scientific anti-epidemic plan, which has been assessed by professional agencies and comments from the Vinh City People's Committee. On that basis, the teams participating in the tournament have complied very seriously, with the form of eating, staying, competing in a closed manner and the tournament process is strictly controlled. With the experience of organizing this tournament, Nghe An is completely confident to be able to continue to host other national tournaments well.
