Great Unity Badminton Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - The Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee has just organized the 2015 Great Unity badminton tournament to welcome the 18th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress and celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front.

The tournament attracted nearly 260 athletes from 31 agencies, units, wards and communes in the city. The tournament took place with 6 competitions including men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles over 45 and under 45 years old.

Each event is divided into 8 groups, competing in a round robin to select the group winners to advance to the knockout rounds. With the enthusiastic cheers of a large audience, the matches were exciting and dramatic.

After 3 days of exciting competition, the organizers awarded prizes: over 45 years old; under 45 years old. In addition, the organizers also awarded prizes for the youngest and oldest athletes, and style prizes.
