Dozens of people trapped in high-rise building fire rescued
Receiving news that many people were trapped in a fire in a high-rise building, the fire department mobilized ladder trucks to rescue dozens of people, many firefighters were injured during the rescue process.
At around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, April 21, a fire suddenly broke out at a high-rise building that is both a company headquarters and a coffee shop located on Tran Nhat Duat Street, Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Hearing the screams, dozens of people in the building panicked and ran out. However, dozens of people were still trapped upstairs and could not escape. People used mini fire extinguishers to try to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Because many people were trapped above, two ladder trucks were sent to rescue them.

At this time, dozens of people trapped on the upper floors were guided by the fire department to evacuate to the rooftop and then used a ladder truck to bring them down to safety. Below, many ambulances and medical staff were also mobilized to take care of the victims.
According to the reporter, during the rescue of the trapped people, some firefighters were injured and had to be treated by medical staff. By about 5:00 p.m., the fire was basically extinguished and the trapped people were safely rescued.
