(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 29th, the Yen Thanh District Police successfully cracked case number 615N, rescuing Ms. Truong TMNg, born in 1992, residing in Dien Xuan commune, Dien Chau district, who had been illegally trafficked abroad by a group of individuals. The mastermind arrested was Nguyen Thi Nhat, born in 1996, residing in Hamlet 8, My Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

Nguyen Thi Nhat is the mastermind behind bringing Ms. Ng to China.

Previously, on June 22nd, taking advantage of Ng's naivety, Nguyen Thi Nhat lured Ng to Hanoi to work as a hairdresser, promising free food and accommodation, and a monthly salary of 4 million VND. Once in Hanoi, Ng was handed over to another individual who took her to the Ha Khau border gate (Lao Cai) to cross into China via an unofficial route.

Unable to contact Ng, her family organized a search and reported the matter to the local authorities and the Yen Thanh District Police on June 23rd. Through the details gathered and investigative methods, the Yen Thanh District Police identified the mastermind and quickly coordinated with the police and border guards of Lao Cai province to urgently investigate and locate Ng. On the afternoon of June 27th, the authorities successfully rescued Ng, who was being held captive in a house located in Chinese territory (bordering Vietnam).

On the afternoon of June 29th, at the Yen Thanh District Police headquarters, Ng was picked up by her family to complete the necessary procedures. Currently, the Yen Thanh District Police are continuing to expand the investigation into the case, completing the dossier to prosecute Nguyen Thi Nhat for the crime of organizing illegal emigration./.
