Rescuing a young man who was about to jump off a hospital building because of a broken heart
His girlfriend's family did not allow him to date her, so the young man took sleeping pills to commit suicide. He was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, but there he wanted to jump off the building.

At noon on June 13, a 19-year-old man from Dong Thap province ran to the rooftop of Trung Vuong Hospital in Ward 14, District 10. He climbed onto the balcony, intending to jump off. Upon discovering the incident, hospital leaders and the victim’s family tried to persuade him, but to no avail.
Ho Chi Minh City Fire Police deployed a ladder truck to approach the young man. A representative of the Fire Department of District 11 said the incident lasted for several hours. The police approached him, but he said he would only come down when he met his girlfriend.
"This person's mother said that her son showed signs of heartbreak because his girlfriend's family did not allow him to date. Before that, he took sleeping pills and was brought here for treatment," this leader added.
At 4:30 p.m., five hours later, the authorities arrived and successfully rescued the young man. The ward police then took him to the headquarters to investigate and clarify the incident.
