Rescued driver trapped after 4 trucks collided overnight

(Baonghean.vn) - The accident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on November 7 on the Vinh City bypass, through Nghi Hoa commune (Nghi Loc).

At the above time, truck with license plate 51C- 017.84 driven by driver Ngo Ngoc Hien (residing in Chau Thanh district, Hau Giang province) was traveling from South to North when it collided with truck with license plate 86C - 064.51 pulling trailer 79R 000.92. The strong collision caused truck with license plate 51C 017.84 to overturn in the middle of the road, and truck 86C 064.51 flew into the field.

After the collision, the front of the truck was crushed and the driver was trapped in the cabin.

There were 4 people in the 2 cars at that time. Immediately after the accident, 3 people were quickly rescued from the car by people living on both sides of the road, and an ambulance was called to take them to the hospital.

However, because the front of the truck was crushed, truck driver Ngo Ngoc Hien was stuck deep in the cabin, making rescue difficult.

While everyone was trying to save driver Hien, suddenly, a truck with license plate 34C 138.89 driven by Nguyen Dinh Truong (residing in Hai Duong) from North to South crashed straight into the car in which Hien was stuck.

Fire and Rescue Police quickly arrived and used professional measures to get the driver out.

After the strong collision, this car continued to crash into another truck with license plate 29C 506.84 pulling a trailer with license plate 29R 053.86.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Force arrived at the scene and used specialized equipment to rescue driver Hien from the car.
