First prize for beautiful new rural commune in Nghe An is awarded 1 billion VND

Based on the results of the contest for beautiful new rural communes in localities, the whole province has 17 communes selected by 14 districts, towns and cities to participate in the contest for beautiful new rural communes of Nghe An province in 2018.

Of the 14 districts, towns and cities, 3 districts chose 2 communes: Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nam Dan, the remaining districts, towns and cities each chose 1 commune.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Target Program for New Rural Construction in the province, said: Over the past month, the Jury of the contest for beautiful new rural communes in Nghe An province has organized actual judging in 17 communes of 14 districts, towns and cities in the province. By January 11, the jury had completed the actual judging in 17 communes.

For the beautiful new rural villages, the Jury will organize the competition from January 14. Accordingly, the whole province has 5 villages and hamlets selected by the districts to compete at the provincial level.

It is expected that on January 19, the Jury of the Provincial Beautiful New Rural Commune Contest will hold the final round. The final round will combine 3 contents: Practical competition, reportage and presentation.

The first prize winner of the 2018 beautiful new rural commune in Nghe An province will be awarded 1 billion VND/commune by the Provincial People's Committee; the first prize winner of the beautiful new rural village will be awarded 300 million VND/village by the province./.
