Solving basic construction debt, avoiding overlap

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee organizes meetings, exchanges, and resolves difficulties for businesses in the area on a monthly basis. Many problems have been resolved, but there are still some areas that require the active participation of departments and branches.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, after the April conference, 9 recommendations from enterprises were resolved by departments, branches and localities related to the following fields: Natural resources and environment; handling of outstanding construction investment debts; extension of some imported wine business licenses; the issue of enterprises suing Vinh City Police; The granting of transit licenses (international transport) to transport enterprises and some recommendations from enterprises related to infrastructure and land rental prices at industrial parks in Vinh City.

At the conference, some opinions from the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Association of Veteran Enterprises recommended to the sectors on extending and re-issuing practice certificates in the field of basic construction; and reasonably adjusting land rental prices in small industrial parks;

Some businesses also reported that the application of environmental resource tax to mineral exploitation enterprises still has shortcomings; some basic construction projects at all levels of government still owe enterprises money; some projects are stuck in site clearance.

After the representatives of departments and branches explained, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa acknowledged the efforts of all levels and branches in accompanying enterprises. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the branches to actively implement solutions to remove difficulties for enterprises; some areas are waiting for the Government's guiding Decree, the departments need to provide specific instructions to enterprises and coordinate to advise the Provincial People's Committee to have appropriate decisions.

Regarding debt for basic construction, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with localities and enterprises to determine a specific roadmap for payment and debt repayment for enterprises. In this field, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Tax Department, the Department of Finance, and the Planning and Investment Department to coordinate with enterprises to pay taxes and fees more promptly, avoiding cross-debt in basic construction.
