Clearing occupied car wash and water pumping locations on National Highway 48

On the morning of April 28, the Inspectorate of Nghe An Department of Transport, Nghe An Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district and the government of Nghia Tan commune to clear violations of traffic safety corridors at the section from Km 42 + 680 to Km 42 + 814 of National Highway 48 in Nghia Tan commune, Nghia Dan district.

According to the people of Nghia Tan commune, Nghia Dan district, for many years now, some households along both sides of National Highway 48 have brazenly turned the roadbed and sidewalks into car washes and water pumping stations. Every day, dozens of heavy trucks gather here to wash their cars or refill with water, causing severe damage to the road.

Faced with that situation, the inspection force of Nghe An Department of Transport, Nghe An Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, and Nghia Tan Commune People's Committee simultaneously launched a campaign to handle the above violations, arranged human resources, machinery, and provided technical guidance to implement the clearance of violations of traffic safety corridors.

At the same time, sign a commitment with households not to re-encroach and assign specific responsibilities to the commune government in monitoring and checking the compliance of the above violating households.
