According to the report of the Department of Transport, from May 15, the Provincial People's Committee established 3 interdisciplinary teams according to Decision No. 1768/QD - Provincial People's Committee.
Up to now, 21/21 districts and cities have organized campaigns to clear violations of traffic safety corridors.
The results have cleared 11,601 m2 of houses, kiosks, tents, 27,904 m2 of all kinds of canopies, 6,825 billboards, 6,304 steps, 19,363 trees obstructing the view...

However, there are still limitations such as: Anti-re-encroachment measures have not been implemented drastically; most commune-level organizations and unions have not registered to manage a route or a section of route according to the model of "self-managed road", "civilized" road. Many places are still heavy on formalities, lacking specific and regular solutions.
Commune-level People's Committees, road and railway management units, and functional forces have not regularly organized patrols, detected, prevented, and promptly handled acts of re-encroachment. Not to mention that propaganda work is still limited, and propaganda signs have not been installed to guide the scope of road boundaries, road and railway traffic safety corridors, and new routes transferred to national highways...

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien acknowledged the work of clearing encroachment on traffic safety corridors by departments and some localities. However, some localities have not been effective in clearing corridors, and are still formalistic. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee requested the 3 interdisciplinary inspection teams to clearly perform their roles and responsibilities in inspecting and evaluating the results of their tasks.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments and localities to strengthen the supervision and strict implementation of the policy on clearing encroachment on traffic safety corridors. Promote propaganda on clearing encroachment on corridors, replicate the model of mobilizing organizations and individuals to dismantle illegal constructions, and organize the signing of commitments not to violate.
Road management units need to coordinate with the authorities to conduct statistics, review land allocation, land allocation, land lease, land use within the traffic safety corridor, adjust land fluctuations, correct land management records, and thereby have appropriate solutions in management work.
