Sentence reductions and early release for 27 prisoners on the occasion of April 30th.

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the leniency policy of the Party and State towards those who have erred, on April 30, 2014, the Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center held a ceremony to announce the decision to reduce prison sentences for 27 inmates who had shown good behavior during their imprisonment, in celebration of April 30th.

The Sentence Reduction Council decided to reduce the sentences of 27 inmates. Of these, 8 inmates had their sentences completely reduced, and 19 inmates had their sentences reduced by 3 to 9 months. These inmates all demonstrated good conduct and strict adherence to discipline, rules, and regulations during their imprisonment. This provides an opportunity for these detainees to reintegrate into the community, live useful lives for their families and society, and also serves as a foundation for other inmates to strive for good rehabilitation through labor in order to benefit from the Party and State's leniency policies in subsequent amnesty periods.

Decisions were issued to reduce the prison sentences of 8 inmates, allowing them to be released early.

At the ceremony, representatives from the Provincial Police Detention Center's Supervisory Board presented decisions to reduce the prison sentences of eight inmates, allowing them to be released early. They also completed the necessary procedures to help them reunite with their families and loved ones.
