Director defrauds buyers of over 3.8 billion VND by selling 61 cars.
Doan Quang Thanh forged authorization documents from the Logistics Department - General Department of Engineering, Ministry of National Defense, to fraudulently sell 61 cars, appropriating 3.814 billion VND.
According to the investigation, Thanh, as the General Director of Ngu Hanh Xanh Company, became acquainted with Mr. Hoang in Vinh Phuc through social and business connections. Thanh introduced himself as someone whose company was authorized by the Logistics Department - General Department of Engineering, Ministry of National Defense, to handle the purchase and sale of 61 liquidated vehicles.

Following the agreement, in May 2020, Thanh's company signed a contract with Hoang for the purchase and sale of the aforementioned cars. After receiving the money, Thanh failed to deliver the cars to Hoang and used the money for personal expenses. Realizing he had been scammed, the victim reported the incident to the police.
