The incident started late on December 5, when a clip recording an argument between a mother and child on a motorbike and Mr. Phuong was posted online.
In it, the woman loudly claimed that Phuong’s company did not pay her child’s salary. After confirming that there was a promise to pay the employee’s salary next month, Phuong angrily cursed, pulled out a gun, loaded it, and aimed it at the woman.
When the woman pointed at her head and challenged, "Shoot, shoot," Phuong pointed the gun up to the sky and pulled the trigger three times, creating an explosion accompanied by a puff of smoke.
During the investigation, the police determined that the gun was a support tool, which Phuong's company was allowed to use in some cases but not including this threatening or intimidating behavior.
The investigation agency also found a police card with the number and position of an officer of the PC45 Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police in the name of Phuong, when searching his company and car after the "gun dancing" incident.
Initially, Phuong admitted to printing a color police ID card sample on the Internet, then pasting his photo in to "show off"./.
