(Baonghean.vn) -Continuing the program of monitoring health insurance examination and treatment at non-public hospitals, on August 20, the monitoring delegation of the Culture and Society Committee, Provincial People's Council had working sessions with General Hospital 115 and Dong Au General Hospital.

To serve the medical examination and treatment work, General Hospital 115 has purchased modern medical examination and treatment equipment; sent doctors and nurses for training to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. The hospital initially provided medical examination and treatment for the people of Nghi Phu and Nghi Duc communes, agencies, schools, and enterprises, with a total of 13,800 health insurance cards.

In addition to providing medical examination and treatment for those in need, Dong Au General Hospital also contracts with the provincial Social Insurance to provide medical examination and treatment for those with health insurance cards in the locality and neighboring areas, with the number of health insurance cards allocated being 11,000 cards. To ensure the rights of people with health insurance cards, the hospital enhances its role and responsibility, improves medical ethics and professional qualifications; strengthens cooperation with a number of central and provincial hospitals to receive professional support in training and fostering staff.
At the units, the monitoring delegation noted that the medical examination and treatment work of the hospitals has contributed to the health care of the people. The delegation requested that the hospitals pay attention to the work of consulting patients on the use of services to ensure the rights of patients; supplement, attract and train qualified and highly responsible staff; invest in technical equipment; do a good job of environmental sanitation, increasingly better serve the medical examination and treatment work for the people.
