(Baonghean)Located at the headwaters of the Nam Non River, with 46 km of border shared with Laos, My Ly commune (Ky Son district) faces many difficulties in transportation. Currently, the main means of transport for residents in 7 out of 12 villages along the river is motorboats. Therefore, the socio-economic development of the locality still faces many challenges and obstacles. In particular, the journey to school for the students here is extremely arduous and fraught with risks and dangers.

Traveling to school by motorboat, having to rent accommodation, meager meals, and dilapidated school buildings – these are the realities and challenges facing the teachers and students of My Ly Commune Semi-Boarding Secondary School...

At the beginning of the new school year, a reporter from Nghe An Newspaper took a trip upstream on the Nam Non River and captured the following images:

The school buildings are in serious disrepair, and there is no funding available for repairs or upgrades.

Lo Thi Huong achieved the title of Excellent Student at the district level (Literature subject - 8th grade).
