Set a trap to trick and sell a close friend to China for 80 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing his best friend come over to visit, Quang deceived him, depicting a happy life in China with the intention of selling his friend for 80 million VND.

On the morning of April 25, the Provincial People's Court opened a first-instance criminal trial of Lang Thi Quang (born in 1992), residing in Cao village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong, for the crime of "Human trafficking".

According to the indictment, in 2013, Lang Thi Quang went to China to get married. In July 2016, knowing that Quang was about to return to Vietnam to visit his family, Lang Thi Thien (born in 1978), residing in Chieng village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong, currently married and living in China, "advised" Quang on finding young girls to sell to China.

Thien said that if he took each person to China, Quang would be paid 50,000-60,000 yuan (150-180 million VND). Quang agreed because it sounded good.

When Quang returned home, Lo Thi Y (born in 1994, living in the same village) came over to visit and asked about life in China. Quang described a happy life in China and if Y agreed to go there, she would be paid 80 million VND.

On November 23, 2016, Quang took a bus to take Lo Thi Y to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) to be taken to China. On the way, when he arrived in Quy Chau district, he was arrested by Que Phong district police.

At the trial, Lang Thi Quang confessed her crime. Considering the case as a whole, the panel sentenced Lang Thi Quang to 3 years in prison. Regarding civil matters, because the victim did not request it, the court did not consider it.

As for Lang Thi Thien, she is currently not in the area. When she is caught, the authorities will handle her later.
