Sharing about his decision to return to his hometown, the comedian confided: "Actually, I left the city to return to the countryside because I couldn't stand the dust and smoke."

Entering the shady house of comedian Hong Giang, few people would think that this is the residence of a famous person because of the rustic and simple features of this artist. Although quite simple, when asking around, everyone knows Giang Coi, because his name is so familiar to the people here.

Nearly 20 years ago, Giang Coi decided to sell his house to buy a car. At that time, he and his children had to rent a house. The musician Do Hong Quan and actress Chieu Xuan lent him a small house on Thuy Khue Street. However, the security here was quite complicated, and the children were still in their teens, so Giang Coi was not at ease. He liked to raise birds and ornamental plants, and the stuffiness in the city prevented him from living out his rustic hobby that had been ingrained in his blood.

While other actors are struggling to buy houses in the inner city for convenient travel, Giang Coi feels peaceful with life in the countryside on the outskirts of Hanoi. He personally built a 10,000 m2 property.2with garden, fish pond from a vacant land.

Until now, many people say he is a tycoon. He said that is partly true because with the current land prices, the place where he lives is not small in value, but few people know that, in the late 1990s, he bought this land for only 27 million, equal to a Dream motorbike at that time.

Sharing about his decision to return to his hometown, the comedian confided: "Actually, I left the city to return to my hometown because I couldn't stand the dust and smoke from my chronic sinusitis. I wanted to return to my hometown to have more open space and fresh air. Returning to my hometown also has its advantages when I can plant trees, dig ponds to raise fish, and harvest the clean products I make as a hobby, which is also a daily joy. Moreover, coming here, I also teach my children many things about nature, about the rustic living environment associated with plants and animals - things that no book can teach them."

The garden was originally just a small field, but gradually the industrial park expanded, and the young people in the village also went to work as factory workers, so many fields were abandoned. Then the people in the area came to beg artist Hong Giang to buy the land so they could buy cars for their children to go to work, causing the garden to expand to 10,000 square meters without them realizing it.

Talking about the garden area that everyone dreams of, Giang Coi cannot help but be proud that after more than ten years, the actor's property has somewhat met his wishes. There, he grows fruit trees, raises fish, raises chickens, raises pigeons, and grows vegetables. Although he is a boy from the old town, Giang Coi is proud that he is now a true farmer.

In the past, the actor had a lot of time to take care of the fruit garden, raise fish, pigs and chickens in the garden, but now his busy schedule makes him have little time to take care of the garden, so he just lets the trees grow naturally. In his free time, Hong Giang gropes around to prune the trees with his son. He also teaches his son interesting lessons about the fruit trees in the home garden, how to prune the trees properly, or lessons about photosynthesis in a visually interesting way.

The youngest son also enjoys the joys of farming with his father when he can harvest fruit for each meal. Although he doesn't have much time, he still wants to take care of the garden with his children. The artist humorously said: "To be honest, I'm very busy, but I have to do it myself because the garden is so big and deserted that I don't want to hire someone to do it."

When mentioning the image of the countryside, Giang Coi immediately remembers the image of the haystack in front of his house, which was very familiar to him during his childhood when he was evacuated to the northern countryside. The haystack was also used by him to heat the wood stove on cold winter days in the small house by the lake.

Not only the straw pile, Giang Coi also dedicated a piece of land to plant bamboo as a shelter for the storks. He shared: 'Every time I see the storks flying back here to make nests, I feel very peaceful, those are simple images that cannot be found in the city'.

The actor also raises a flock of pigeons instead of the pigs and chickens he used to raise.

Whenever he has free time, he calls the birds down to eat as a form of entertainment after stressful working hours.
