Gangster slashes police lieutenant in Saigon caught on camera

The man leading a gang of gangsters who smashed up a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City and slashed a police lieutenant, sending him to the hospital, was captured on security cameras around the area.

According to the investigation, 2 nights ago Phong Troc and the girl went to a restaurant on Phan Xich Long Street (Ward 2, Phu Nhuan District). A moment later, when he heard the restaurant owner loudly scolding his daughter, Phong became angry.

He yelled at the owner, even though he had been apologized to. Thinking that he was not "sincere", Phong declared that he would send someone to "close the shop".

After letting the girl go home in a taxi, Phong called 3 people to bring machetes and iron pipes, including Sang Map. These gangsters with northern accents broke into the shop and destroyed it.

Lieutenant Bui Minh Nhut (Ward 2 Police) and the neighborhood watchmen were on patrol and discovered the incident. While restraining a person, Mr. Nhut was slashed by a gang of gangsters, breaking his elbow, and the male neighborhood watchman suffered a lacerated eye.
