Loving Christmas for cancer patients at Nghe An Oncology Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 25, Nghe An Oncology Hospital, in collaboration with other units and philanthropists, organized the program "Christmas of Love" for children and cancer patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the hospital.
Attending the program, on behalf of Nghe An Oncology Hospital, there were Dr. Pham Vinh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Hospital Union; members of the social work network in the hospital. On the side of the benefactors, there were representatives of the Network for Children with Cancer, along with families of other benefactors.

Dr. Pham Vinh Hung - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghe An Oncology Hospital expressed: "Organizing the Christmas program at the hospital is a meaningful activity, contributing to bringing patients a warm and joyful atmosphere, helping them forget the pain and fatigue caused by illness. Besides, these activities are also an opportunity for doctors, nurses and hospital staff to show their care, attention and encouragement to the sick children, helping them have more motivation to fight the disease, recover soon and return home before the New Year".

Within the framework of the program, children and cancer patients enjoyed performances, participated in Christmas games, wrote letters to Santa Claus and received many attractive gifts from the organizers.
At the ceremony, Ho Ngoc Quynh Nhi - currently a final year student majoring in International Business Administration at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and other donors presented cancer patients, especially pediatric patients, with many gifts worth nearly 80 million VND.


With a heart for children, musician Xuan Hoa's family and children from the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House contributed a special art program at the Christmas ceremony for pediatric patients and cancer patients at Nghe An Oncology Hospital.

In recent years, Nghe An Oncology Hospital has regularly coordinated with units, groups and individuals to organize charitable activities for patients on meaningful occasions such as: War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Vietnamese Teachers' Day, International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year... The organized programs have shown the hearts of doctors at Nghe An Oncology Hospital and philanthropists, with the desire to share the difficulties and physical pain that patients are facing.
