Meeting on Youth Union work and youth movement in cluster number 1

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 12, 2015, in Anh Son district, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2015 for emulation cluster No. 1, including the following units: Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Tan Ky, Nghia Dan, the Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command, the Youth Union of the Enterprise Bloc, the Youth Union of Vinh University of Technology and Education, and the Youth Union of Vinh University of Medicine.

Attending the conference were Comrade Le Hong Vinh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee, and Nguyen Dinh Hung – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union;

Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - guided the discussion on youth union work and youth movements in the cluster.

In 2015, with the theme "Advancing Under the Party Flag," the Youth Union's work and youth movement throughout the province in general and in the cluster in particular achieved many outstanding results, which were recognized and highly appreciated by the Party committee, government, and people. Propaganda and educational activities became increasingly focused and in-depth. The Youth Union successfully organized activities to celebrate major national holidays. Youth volunteer movements for socio-economic development and national defense were widely implemented with hundreds of youth projects and initiatives, and dozens of highly effective youth economic development models were replicated and maintained…

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Ha, Secretary of the Anh Son District Youth Union, gave a speech on youth union work in the district.

The organization has implemented many new and practical activities for young people, such as: Youth fairs, charitable porridge kitchens, volleyball courts for young people in areas with religious communities (Nghia Dan); Youth Entrepreneurship Clubs, lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth, living blood banks (Do Luong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky…).

The cluster-level meeting aims to evaluate the achievements of the units, highlight best practices and innovative models for other units to learn from, and focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level, thereby reviewing the leadership and management work of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in 2015.
