Meeting on Party building and organization work in Cluster 1

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 6th, in Nghi Loc, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department held a meeting on Party building work for Cluster 1, comprising 7 district, city, and town Party committees: Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Cua Lo, and 2 affiliated units (the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc and the Party Committee of the Provincial Government Agencies Bloc). Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, chaired the meeting.

In the first six months of the year, the Party Committees of districts, cities, and affiliated Party Committees in Cluster 1 advised the Standing Committees of the Party Committees to issue plans and directives on the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee. Following the review meetings, the units identified 60 immediate tasks and assigned responsibilities for their implementation, initially yielding some results in improving the quality of Party branch activities, inspection and supervision work, and the implementation of the principle of collective leadership and individual responsibility; gradually resolving difficulties, obstacles, and prominent and pressing issues. The work of planning, training, fostering, and rotating cadres has become more proactive and of higher quality; overcoming limitations and shortcomings in three areas of planning and implementation, especially the leadership and guidance of Party committee members and leading management cadres.

Adhering closely to the contents of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations," the units have proposed many solutions to focus on building, consolidating, and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, such as the Project on renewing and improving the quality of studying resolutions of the Vinh City Party Committee, evaluating the "Plan to eliminate weaknesses and reduce deficiencies" of Nghi Loc... creating a qualitative transformation in various types of grassroots Party organizations.

The work of training and developing new Party members, especially in areas without Party branches and in rural areas, has received attention from the units. By the end of May 2013, the entire cluster had admitted 746 new Party members (reaching 39% of the plan)...

At the conference, the participating units focused on discussing and sharing experiences, finding solutions to overcome existing limitations and weaknesses, and proposing recommendations to the province and the central government to address difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of their tasks.

In conclusion, Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam requested that the advisory units effectively implement the Resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels, in conjunction with concretizing Resolution 09-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee; Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, focusing on overcoming limitations and shortcomings, and promptly and effectively implementing necessary tasks, especially at the commune level, and other important resolutions and projects. In addition, they should complete management records according to the decentralization; conduct preliminary and comprehensive reviews of resolutions of the Central Committee and the province. Attention should also be paid to developing Party members in religious and ethnic minority areas and in various types of businesses…/.
