Exchange to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 21, the Military Command and the Population Center of Hung Nguyen district jointly organized an exchange to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2017), the 28th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - 2017) and the 56th anniversary of Vietnam Population Day (December 26, 1961 - 2017).

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 56th anniversary of Vietnam Population Day, the units also sent to the exchange program many artistic performances and organized many exciting and interesting collective games.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Hung Nguyen District Population and Family Planning Center disseminated Resolution 21-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on population work in the new situation. This is a very important content at the present time to enhance the responsibility of sectors and mass organizations for population work.

Particularly in Hung Nguyen district, although it is one of the first localities in the province to reach the replacement fertility level, the birth rate of the third child or more in the district is still high and the gender imbalance at birth is at a red alert level with a ratio of 124 boys/100 girls.

Through this, the industry hopes that the military forces in the area will join hands in promoting population work so that the locality can complete the goals and targets on population quality stated in Resolution 21.

Through this activity, the spirit of solidarity between the two units is enhanced. In addition, it is also an opportunity for the two units to exchange, share and propose many practical solutions to work together to fulfill the common political tasks assigned by the district and the province.
