Exchange program "Lighting up dreams for a brighter tomorrow"
On the morning of May 25th, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Prison No. 3 - General Department 8 - Ministry of Public Security, organized an exchange program titled "Lighting Up Dreams for a Brighter Tomorrow". Participating in the exchange were representatives from the leadership of General Department 8; the management board of Prison No. 3; the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province; and 500 inmates currently serving sentences at the prison.

Prison No. 3 – Ministry of Public Security currently manages over 2,000 inmates, including many convicted of particularly serious crimes. The program conveys the message that while everyone in society may make mistakes, they need compassion, love, and support to rekindle their dreams of rehabilitation and rebuilding their lives as useful members of society. Many activities, such as cultural exchanges, artistic performances, gift-giving, and free medical examinations and medication for inmates, once again demonstrate the concern of the Party, the State, and socio-political organizations. These activities create confidence and motivation for inmates to reform, reintegrate into the community, and contribute to reducing the rate of recidivism and law violations among young people.

Gifts were given to inmates who had shown good behavior during their rehabilitation.
On this occasion, the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province; Can Linh Pagoda, Vinh City, presented gifts to inmates with good rehabilitation records; and the Young Doctors Club of Nghe An province provided free medical examinations and medicine to 120 inmates of the prison.
