Fierce fighting continues in Bakhmut, several large explosions in central Ukraine
Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said fierce fighting continued in Bakhmut.
“The hottest spots are now Bakhmut and Marinka. Fierce fighting continues in Bakhmut,” Malyar wrote on her Telegram channel on April 30. According to her, the Russian army continues to attack in the direction of Bakhmut.
According to the Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine, Kiev is controlling many parts of Bakhmut and can still provide food, ammunition and medicine to the defenders here. However, the Ukrainian army did not reveal exactly how much of the city has fallen into Russian hands.

Multiple large explosions in central Ukraine
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporizhzhia government council, said that the Russian army attacked infrastructure and warehouses in Pavlograd (central Dnipro province) used by Ukraine to gather forces for the upcoming counterattack.
Meanwhile, Anatoly Vershina, mayor of Pavlograd, said that several explosions occurred in the area on the night of April 30. The city government asked residents not to leave their safe shelters until the air defense alert ended, but did not release further details.
Russia and Ukraine have not commented on the above information.
