Loc My parish organizes weekly mass to thank Jesus

On August 10, Loc My Parish in Nghi Quang Commune, Nghi Loc District held a culminating mass for the Eucharistic adoration week. This was also the beginning of the second 100-year cycle of adoration week of this parish.

At the culminating mass, the parish used the sacrament of the Eucharist and the rituals and homily to reiterate the importance of the second 100-year adoration week; celebrated the feast of the martyrdom of Lawrence and called on the community of parishioners to join in offering the mass.

Loc My Parish, part of Cua Lo Diocese, was established in 1853, with 3 sub-parishes (Loc My, Dong Ngan, Duc Vong), and has about 3,000 parishioners; currently, Father Giuse Truong Van Truong is the parish priest. The parishioners in the area mainly work in aquaculture, fishing, and service industries.
