The broom you use to sweep the house every day costs only 30-40 thousand VND in Vietnam but is priced up to 2.6 million VND on Amazon Japan.

Recently, the online community has been abuzz with the story of a familiar firewood pot in every Vietnamese family, but with an "astronomical" price when it is being sold on Amazon abroad.
Specifically, a Vietnamese girl living in Japan tried to search Amazon for a grass broom, also known as a Vietnamese cotton broom. The search results showed that this "rustic" broom was sold for 12,000 Japanese Yen, equivalent to nearly 2.6 million Vietnamese Dong.

In Vietnam, a similar broom is sold for about 30-40 thousand VND. Thus, the price of a broom has increased by nearly 80 times.
The same broom, if you look it up on Amazon in the US, will cost about 18 USD, equivalent to nearly 400 thousand VND, meaning the value has increased 10 times.
Faced with this huge price difference, many netizens humorously commented, affirming that they would switch to selling brooms and indeed getting rich is not difficult.
