A 33-year-old male passenger hid 21 Swiss brand watches in his pants to avoid customs inspection at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Recently, the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch has implemented the "Green Door" and "Red Door" traffic flow to create maximum convenience and shorten the clearance time for inbound passengers.
However, there have been cases where passengers have taken advantage of the ease of customs procedures to commit commercial fraud.
On October 15, the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch - Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department announced that this unit has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance to determine the value, complete the documents and transfer them to the Anti-smuggling and Violation Handling Department - Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department to handle according to regulations for the case of a 33-year-old male passenger, Vietnamese nationality, who hid 21 Swiss-made branded watches by tying them in his pants to avoid customs inspection.
