Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on September 26, the working group discovered Tran Duy Tan driving a car with license plate 35C - 097.91 on National Highway 48E.
When arriving at Nghia Hoan commune (Tan Ky), the working group signaled to stop the vehicle and conducted an inspection. They discovered homemade containers that were cleverly concealed under the driver's seat, passenger seat, and in front of the vehicle's engine.
Opening the boxes and secret compartments, the police discovered and seized 102 boxes of 36-round fireworks, more than 1,000 firecrackers, with a total weight of more than 100 kg.
At the investigation agency, Tran Duy Tan initially confessed to buying the above fireworks from a subject in Dien Chau district, then using a car to transport them to Tan Ky district to sell for profit./.
