The moment two ships collided, killing four people on the river

A fisherman filmed the collision between two ships on the Red River that left four people in one family dead.

A video clip is circulating on social media capturing the moment Captain Tuan’s boat collided with another boat, killing four members of the family. The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. on July 4 on the Red River in Hong Ly commune, Vu Thu district (Thai Binh). The video immediately caught the attention of the community.

The ship that Mr. Tuan was operating, carrying about 80 tons of materials, was hit by another ship straight into the side and sank immediately after. The moment happened very quickly, in just 10 seconds, Mr. Tuan's ship completely sank under the waters of the Red River.

Currently, all 4 bodies including Mr. Tuan, his wife and 2 children have been found and have been taken home by relatives for funeral arrangements.
