At this time, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hanh (born in 1991, residing in Do Luong district, Nghe An) was filling up gas for Giap when suddenly Giap pulled out a knife and put it to Mr. Hanh's neck, demanding another gas station employee to give Giap all the money.

Hearing the cry for help, the working group of Son Chau Commune Police together with local people arrived promptly to control and arrest Giap.
Currently, Huong Son District Police are detaining Thai Manh Giap to investigate the case.
