Kill the creditor, hide the body and get rid of the evidence
Police have just prosecuted and temporarily detained Nguyen Du Phuc, 37 years old, in Cam Ranh city for murder.
Previously, on June 6, the body of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hue (40 years old, Cam Phu ward, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province) was discovered in Cam Hai Dong commune, Cam Lam district. Ms. Hue's body was in a bush in a bushy forest area, showing signs that the perpetrator intentionally hid the victim's body.
Through investigation, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police identified the suspect as Nguyen Du Phuc, 37 years old, from Cam Loc ward. Initially, Phuc confessed to committing the murder.
It is known that Nguyen Du Phuc works as a real estate broker. Nearly a year ago, Phuc met Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hue and borrowed 100 million VND. He borrowed the money for a long time, was urged to pay it back many times but did not have the money to pay, so Phuc came up with the idea of killing the creditor to take possession of the property.
On the evening of June 4, Phuc told Ms. Hue that someone had lent him money, so he would take Ms. Hue to get the money. Ms. Hue followed Phuc to the meeting place. When they arrived at Cam Hai Dong commune, Cam Lam district, she saw Phuc running around, so Ms. Hue asked him to stop the car, causing an argument. Phuc jumped in, beat and strangled Ms. Hue to death, then dragged her body into the bushes to dispose of the evidence.
