Killed ex-wife because of unsuccessful attempt to win back love
Begging to rekindle their relationship but being rejected by his 62-year-old ex-wife, the man used a pepper pounder and an iron bar to beat the victim to death.

On January 22, Dong Thap Provincial Police arrested Huynh Van Xe (65 years old, in Phu Huu commune, Chau Thanh district) to investigate the act of murder.
According to initial investigation, many years ago, Mr. Xe divorced his wife but in recent years he has returned to live as husband and wife with this woman in Ward 2, Sa Dec City.
Recently, the two had a conflict. Mr. Xe suspected that this woman had a new lover so they did not live together.
Three nights ago, Mr. Xe went to his ex-wife's house hoping to rekindle their relationship but was unsuccessful. During the argument, he took a pepper pounder and an iron bar and hit the woman on the head and face, killing her on the spot.
After committing the crime, this man dragged the victim's body into the room, locked the door and went home.The next morning, neighbors discovered the victim dead and immediately reported it to the police.
