Speaking before attending the NATO summit in Brussels, Prime Minister May said she would “make clear to President Trump that intelligence shared between our two countries’ law enforcement agencies must remain confidential”.
British police have now stopped sharing information about the Manchester suicide bombing with US authorities, after details of the attack were repeatedly leaked to the US media.
Prime Minister May also stressed that the terror threat level will continue to be maintained at “critical” – the highest level – after being declared on May 23 following the horrific terrorist attack at Manchester Arena that killed at least 22 people.

Earlier, speaking after an emergency ministerial meeting, Prime Minister May stressed: “People need to remain vigilant”. There are currently about 1,000 soldiers supporting the police “to ensure safety ahead of the busy bank holiday weekend”.
The British leader said he would work with “international counterparts to push back terrorism”./.
