Experts point out 3 identifications about the outbreak of World War III

According to Ria Novosti on January 28, George Hayes, an expert from the Anglo-American University in Prague (Czech Republic), in an article for iDNES analyzing current foreign policy, stated that World War III has begun.

The expert explains that there are conflicts taking place on different continents. Despite the heterogeneity of these conflicts, they still show the existence of two opposing poles, which are fighting each other for the right to change the world order. George Hayes notes that the struggle is taking place in many places - in Ukraine, Gaza, Taiwan, and elsewhere.

"World War III has long been imagined as a series of massive explosions, with mushroom clouds over the world that could cause instantaneous destruction. But could this war take a different form that few have thought of? Today we see conflicts threatening to manifest themselves on different continents, with the participation of many different actors. All of these conflicts are not homogeneous but reflect the presence of two clearly opposing alliances" - commented expert George Hayes.

According to expert Hayes, the first and most obvious conflict is the armed confrontation in Ukraine, and the West's desire to strengthen Kiev's defenses. The West is seeing its arsenal gradually emptied, transferring weapons to Ukraine. Other "players" based on this will change their calculations, and want to benefit from the West's weakness.

The next conflict is another player – Iran. According to Hayes, Iran is supporting Hamas and Hezbollah in their conflict with Israel. Along with that, Iran is supporting the Houthi forces. And recently, Iran has started attacking targets in Syria, Iraq and Pakistan.

These escalating conflicts have affected the US’s calculus on Taiwan, Hayes said. At first glance, it seems like a situation where Washington has to spread itself thin and divide its resources between two major conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. However, the West is still very powerful. And the Taiwan issue will continue to be a flashpoint that will push tensions between the US and China to a boiling point.

However, the balance of power could still change, because according to observers, North Korea is increasingly cooperating deeply with Russia in the military field, in exchange for missile and space technology.

In addition to the major conflicts and threats mentioned above, there is also Venezuela - a country claiming territory in Guyana, and the Russian military is operating in several African countries. Expert Hayer said that if all these players continue to conflict and escalate, the US and the West will not be able to fully support all of them at the same time.

Expert Hayer commented that there are two alliances fighting each other around the world to gain regional interests and change the international structure. This is no longer an indirect confrontation between two powers in the Cold War. This is a real participation in the confrontation between many active subjects on different fronts./.
