Artists shocked by news of musician Ngoc Chau's death

Musician Do Bao shared that he is feeling very heavy. The news of musician Ngoc Chau's sudden death has shocked and saddened everyone. In Do Bao's memory, musician Ngoc Chau was one of the few most prominent young musicians in the music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

"In our eyes, musician Ngoc Chau is a talented, knowledgeable and emotional musician. He is successful in many aspects of life. Of course, everyone has their own concerns. Our generation of young musicians is very inspired by musician Ngoc Chau. He composed few but all of his works were very good and bright. Later, he stopped working in music. I believe that everyone loves Ngoc Chau," said Do Bao.

To singer Minh Quan, musician Ngoc Chau is a gentle, kind and devoted person to his colleagues. When he first joined the band Qua Dua Hau, Minh Quan was very confused and awkward because he had to work with all famous artists. It was musician Ngoc Chau who taught him many ways to sing, sing harmony, hum and vibrato to blend in with the band.

Ngoc Chau also trusted Minh Quan with many good songs to perform. Among them, the songGolden AutumnIn the program Song I Love, Minh Quan was loved by a large audience.

"No matter what problem I asked Chau, he always explained it to me in great detail and specifically. He was a very enthusiastic brother. I know that not only me but many colleagues also received the same enthusiasm from Chau. That is why everyone loved him so much. When I returned to the Youth Theater, Chau continued to assign me songs that helped me shine in many music nights. He was very meticulous in choosing songs that best suited my voice," Minh Quan recalled.

Designer Duc Hung calls musician Ngoc Chau "a true talent". He wrote: "Whispering Spring, Gentle Sun, Tam Today,...Countless works have deeply penetrated many generations of music lovers. You left behind for the Vietnamese music treasure trove of masterpieces. The melodies you brought into the country's musical life will forever resonate."

Singer Thai Thuy Linh shared: "So musician Ngoc Chau said goodbye to us this spring morning, it happened so suddenly without any warning whisper. Goodbye Chau! Thank you for leaving so many heartfelt gifts in everyone's memories, especially singers like me, who have taken their first naive steps on the professional artistic path with your "national" songs, the beautiful and innocent melodies that 20 years ago, it seemed like no young person did not know. Singer Viet Tu wrote: "Really shocked and sad to hear the news of your passing. We still had coffee dates and talked about our studies together, but now you have to say goodbye to everyone. Musician Le Thanh Tam expressed his condolences to musician Ngoc Chau and his family. He wrote: "To me, you are a very special person, Chau! I still remember the feeling of joy when my seniors praised me for singing backing vocals when I recorded for you 20 years ago. I have been following you since Khanh Linh informed me, thinking everything was fine, but today I am so sad. May you rest in peace. I will miss you, the gentle musician, very much."

Immediately after hearing the news of musician Ngoc Chau's passing, singers My Linh, Dinh Manh Ninh, Hai Yen, musician Quoc Long... also wrote on their personal pages to express their condolences for the talented musician who passed away at the age of 55.

Musician Ngoc Chau passed away at 7:20 a.m. on March 17, 2022 at Hospital 108 due to end-stage heart failure. Visitation: 12:00-1:00 p.m. on March 19, 2022 (February 17, Nham Dan year), burial in his hometown Ngoc Lau, Phu Xuyen, Hanoi.
