Gasoline prices remain unchanged, diesel prices decrease slightly.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just announced that they will maintain stable prices for gasoline and fuel oil; and reduce the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene.
Specifically, maintain stable prices for commonly consumed petroleum products in the market:
RON 92 gasoline: not exceeding 20,436 VND/liter;
E5 gasoline: not exceeding 20,106 VND/liter;
Diesel fuel 0.05S: not exceeding 16,364 VND/liter, a decrease of 19 VND/liter.
Kerosene: not exceeding 15,374 VND/liter, a decrease of 377 VND/liter.
Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: not exceeding the price of 13,153 VND/kg.
The policy will be in effect from 3:30 PM on June 4th.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of refined petroleum products in the world market during the 15 days from May 20, 2015 to June 3 was 81.006 USD/barrel for RON 92 gasoline; 76.700 USD/barrel for 0.05S diesel; 76.276 USD/barrel for kerosene; and 384.299 USD/ton for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil.
Therefore, the base price of refined petroleum products, for the pricing period of June 4th, differs from the domestic selling price as follows:
RON 92 gasoline: 1,047 VND/liter higher;
E5 gasoline: 882 VND/liter higher;
Diesel fuel 0.05S: 19 VND/liter lower;
Kerosene: lower than 377 VND/liter;
Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: higher by 98 VND/kg.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have decided to maintain the current level of contributions to the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund.
Gasoline: 1,047 VND/liter;
E5 gasoline: 882 VND/liter;
Fuel oil: 98 VND/kg./.
