Keep gasoline price unchanged, increase oil price from 3pm this afternoon
According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. today, the selling price of gasoline products will remain the same as current. The price of kerosene and fuel oil decreased by 116 VND - 270 VND/liter, kg while diesel 0.05S increased by 148 VND to 17,686 VND/liter.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance has just released information on gasoline price management this afternoon (August 22).
According to the joint decision of the ministries, to maintain the retail price of gasoline products, businesses are allowed to increase the use of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund at 1,272 VND/liter for E5 RON92 gasoline (previous period used 1,194 VND/liter). RON95 gasoline is allocated 697 VND/liter from the fund (previous period used 554 VND/liter) while fuel oil is no longer used (previous period used 70 VND/kg).
After making provisions and spending the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund as above, prices of popular petroleum products on the market are adjusted as follows:
E5 RON92 gasoline price remains stable;
RON95 gasoline price remains stable;
Diesel 0.05S increased by 148 VND/liter;
Kerosene decreased by 116 VND/liter;
Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S decreased by 270 VND/kg.
Thus, the selling price of popular petroleum products on the market is not higher than the price:
E5 RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 19,611/liter;
RON95 gasoline is not higher than VND 21,177/liter;
Diesel 0.05S is not higher than 17,686 VND/liter;
Kerosene: not higher than 16,263 VND/liter;
Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 14,743 VND/kg.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world in the past 15 days increased by 0.234 USD/barrel to 81.785 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline. RON95 gasoline increased by 0.533 USD/barrel to 84.332 USD/barrel of gasoline while 0.05S diesel oil increased by 0.771 USD/barrel to 86.485 USD/barrel.
In this operating period, the price of ethanol E100 used to calculate the base price of E5 RON92 gasoline of the Ministry of Finance is 14,654.5 VND/liter (excluding VAT).
