Amid Russia-Ukraine tensions, US military aircraft fly into Black Sea airspace
A US Air Force Boeing RC-135V electronic reconnaissance aircraft flying from Saya Bey airfield on the Greek island of Crete flew to the Black Sea amid tensions between Moscow and Kiev over the incident in the Black Sea, the “Ukrainian Military Information Portal” said on Monday.
At 7:50 Kiev time (or 12:50 Hanoi time), the US Air Force electronic reconnaissance aircraft Boeing RC-135V with call sign BASTE41 took off from Suda airport on the Greek island of Crete and was flying to the Black Sea," the statement said.
At 8:30 (Kiev time) or 13:30 (Hanoi time) the plane was in the airspace of Bulgaria and was heading towards the coast of Crimea — the portal writes.

In the incident, three Ukrainian soldiers were slightly injured. They received medical care, their lives are not in danger. Russia has opened a criminal case for violating the state border.
