Amid Russia-Ukraine tensions, US military aircraft fly into Black Sea airspace
A US Air Force Boeing RC-135V electronic reconnaissance aircraft flew from Saya Bey airfield on the Greek island of Crete to the Black Sea amid tensions between Moscow and Kiev over the incident in the Black Sea, the “Ukrainian Military Information Portal” reported on Monday.
At 7:50 Kiev time (or 12:50 Hanoi time), the US Air Force Boeing RC-135V electronic reconnaissance aircraft with call sign BASTE41 took off from Suda airport on the Greek island of Crete and is flying to the Black Sea," the statement said.
At 8:30 (Kiev time) or 13:30 (Hanoi time) the plane was in Bulgarian airspace and was heading towards the Crimean coast, the portal wrote.
November 25,Three ships of the Ukrainian Navy Berdyansk, Nikopol and Yana Kapa, in violation of Articles 19 and 21 of the UN Convention, illegally crossed the maritime border of Russia. These vessels did not comply with the legitimate requests of the Russian authorities.
Russia decided to use weapons. All three ships were seized about 20 kilometers off the Russian coast.
In the incident, three Ukrainian soldiers were slightly injured. They received medical care, their lives are not in danger. Russia has opened a criminal case for violating the state border.

Ukrainian army moves to combat readiness after demanding Russia return warships
The Ukrainian army has moved to full combat readiness, the press service of the country's Defense Ministry said.
