(Baonghean.vn)- Provincial Road 536 (also known as Nam Cam Road), from Km 2+600 to Km 6+00, in recent months, there have been frequent incidents of trucks carrying wood chips dropping raw wood on the road surface, affecting traffic safety and polluting the environment.
On average, each month, Nghe An Paper Materials Company organizes two shipments of wood chips to Cua Lo port. Depending on the number of ships receiving goods, each shipment lasts from 2 to 6 days. Every day, there are 70 to 80 cargo trucks running on this route. Trucks with full cargo containers, no tarpaulin covers, and loose cargo containers have caused wood chips to fall on the road surface. In particular, on Song Kiet bridge, wood chips fall at a high density. |
Wood chips scattered on the road not only affect traffic safety for vehicles but also pollute the environment. Nghi Loc Traffic Department hopes that the authorities will take active measures to end this situation. |
Nghi Loc Traffic Department often has to mobilize human resources to clean up spilled materials on the road. The unit has repeatedly sent petitions to Nghe An Paper Materials Company Limited and state management agencies, but this situation has not yet ended. |
