Contributing to the unique character of the provincial Party newspaper.

(Baonghean)In 2012, Nghe An Newspaper used approximately 70% of the 12,000 articles submitted by its contributors. Notably, starting in March 2012, Nghe An Newspaper implemented a monthly reward system for contributors with high-quality articles. This demonstrates Nghe An Newspaper's strong appreciation for the dedicated and responsible collaboration of its team of contributors.

In 2012, the Nghe An Newspaper Editorial Board awarded 45 journalistic works by contributors. These articles reflected diverse aspects of politics, economics, agriculture, culture, education, and law. Many articles, such as "Sailors recount stories of piracy in Somalia," "The fossilized remains of Truong Sa sovereignty in Nghe An," and "Nghe An laborers - a perspective," were submitted in a timely manner, meeting the expectations of readers near and far regarding events related to the lives of people in Nghe An; and the awareness of protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands, and homeland of the Vietnamese people.

In particular, this year the number of articles in sections such as "Observation Corner," "Exchange," "Forum," and "International Commentary" has attracted more reader attention. Therefore, articles in these sections consistently receive awards each month, such as: "Curing the Disease of Talking Too Much," "Handing over the Sword," "The Chaos of Titles," "Learning to Be Shameful," "Bad Debt and Responsibility," "Where is the Place for Creativity and Humanism?"... With their multifaceted perspectives and sharp writing skills, the contributors have produced insightful, well-structured, and highly persuasive articles.

Alongside a team of long-standing, loyal contributors who have always stood by the growth of Nghe An Newspaper, such as Mr. Thanh Phong, Mr. Duong Huy, Ms. Tran Ngoc Lan, Mr. Duong Xuan Thao, and Mr. Vo Van Vinh, this year Nghe An Newspaper has added a team of experienced contributors like Tran Hong Co and Viet Long, as well as young contributors like Hai Trieu, who possess strong writing skills, broad knowledge, quick wit, and mature, insightful thinking, contributing to enriching the newspaper's content.

However, to produce high-quality, complete, accurate, and engaging articles, the role of editors cannot be overlooked. Editors and contributors have forged a close relationship, not only proactively commissioning articles and suggesting topics, but also researching, cross-referencing, and communicating with writers to leverage each contributor's strengths. Edited articles become clearer, more coherent, and more accurate. Each editor hopes that articles they work on will have an enhanced impact, increasing the newspaper's credibility with readers.

Concerned about the articles written by contributors, many editors shared: For contributors, editors act as intermediaries between journalists and writers. This role sometimes makes editing articles for contributors more difficult and complicated. For example, many contributors are leaders with high academic titles and degrees, and the content of their articles is often conveyed in scholarly language, suitable for research style. But the motto of Nghe An Newspaper is to ensure that most of its readers can grasp this profound knowledge in everyday, easily understandable language—the language of journalism—that is the mission of the "housekeeper" in the editorial office.

Hopefully, in 2013, as Nghe An Newspaper increases its pages and issue count, not only will its content, format, and quality improve, but it will also attract more active contributors from various fields of activity, helping to enrich the character of the provincial Party newspaper.
